What we’re looking for
Wee Seeds’ mission is to bring mindfulness to all early year’s children, no matter their circumstances. We are a purpose-driven start-up, with a small team and a big vision.
Thanks to investment from the Big Issue Invest Power Up Scotland programme, we plan to build on our initial work, grow and scale – and we need your help!
Currently, we are a team of remote, part-time workers, with a passion for mindfulness and social good. As part of a start-up, we’re looking for you to roll your sleeves up, bring innovative ideas to the table, and get your hands dirty implementing them.
If you’re interested in children’s mental health, have a background in sales, partnerships, and growth, and want to create social impact, then we’d love to hear from you.
Finer details
Time required: 1.5-2 days p/w – to be agreed in partnership, depending on rate and other commitments.
Fee: To be agreed in partnership, willing to negotiate sales-reward.
Hours worked: We can be flexible to meet caring needs, but some 9-5 hours are needed to meet role requirements.
Contract: 6-month freelance contract. There’s scope to extend this, dependant on targets set and met within first six months.
Where: Remote working, but in-person meetings maybe required, dependant on your location.

The Role
We need someone to lead this growth through sales and partnerships, initially with nurseries and other educational establishments, our new referrals programme and our social impact scheme.
As a new role, we’d ideally like someone with previous experience in Sales, Partnerships and/or Growth to help develop a brand-new sales plan. As a small team, we also need someone to deliver this plan.
Working closely with Wee Seeds Founder Christina Cran, the Wee Seeds Board, and other advisors, as well as our current volunteers, we’re looking for a fresh approach to our sales methods and systems to help us scale to the next level. Are you that person?

About you
Your superpower will be in building relationships and securing contracts to grow our revenue models and enable us to achieve our social impact aims.
We’d imagine you’d have a proven track record of growth through partnerships, and in leading the charge to build sales and revenue increases, particularly in the B2B and B2C2B field, and possibly within a start-up.
You may have worked at a management level, but certainly worked closely with senior management or executive level.
