Wee Seeds receives investment, thanks to Power Up Scotland programme

We are delighted to announce we're one of four incredible social ventures to be supported by the Big Issue Invest Power Up Scotland programme.

Wee Seeds, along with Ayrshire Women’s Hub, Brave Strong Beautiful, National Support Network, have benefitted from part of a total investment of half a million pounds.

We've already got so much from the mentorship and support the Power Up Scotland programme has given us - but to be awarded the investment will take us to the next level.

We are so excited!

Christina Cran, Wee Seeds Founder, said: "Wee Seeds was born pre-pandemic from my need to help my own son after he showed signs of anxiety following my diagnosis with Type One diabetes.

"But it is even more relevant today, given the impact of Covid on our children's mental health. We have a tremendous opportunity to bring mindfulness to early years children, and shift the mental health agenda.

"The loan from the Big Issue Invest programme will help us work towards that shift, power up our ambitions, and help plant the seeds of positive mental health in our young people."
